Dear IIT BHU Alumni:

IITBHU Global Alumni Association (IBGAA) is pleased to announce its second mega meet on September 22, 2012 at Santa Clara Convention Center. A professional environment with keynotes and panel discussion during the day and fun filled environment in the evening with some of our very own musicians and outside professional singers. Also, a separate event for your kids to be engaged throughout the day.

Why Should You attend?

a) To connect with other members of IIT BHU family
At times we are very busy with our work and miss the connection with our Alma mater where we all have spent golden years of our life. This is the time to rekindle those precious memories.

b) Want to know more on Entrepreneurship, Mentorship and Funding?
Entreprenership panel discussions by our own VC alumni and successful entrepreneurs who have established or funded young companies. Get expert advice and some mentorship. Talk by Shirish Sathaye, Parnter, Khosla Ventures; Vish Mishra, VC and TiE SiliconValley President; Ajit Singh, Parnter, Artiman Ventures, and the list goes on….

c) Thinking of a job change?
Our Alumni are in many companies at good positions. How to get plugged into job opportunities in those places?

d) Want to meet  officials from IIT (BHU) and have an impact on its future?
Provide your feedback and suggestions to Vice Chancellor of BHU (also the Chairman of governing body of IIT (BHU) and to current Director of IIT (BHU). Participate in open discussion on future of IIT (BHU) and how to make it top 3 technical institutes in next 3-5 years.   Learn about latest development at IIT (BHU) and pay tribute to Mahamana Malaviyaji during his 150th Birth Anniversary Celebration.

 e) Planning for MBA or higher studies or profession in teaching?
Talk to successful academicians like Dr. Satish Tripathi, Dr. Pankaj Chandra, Dr. Pradeep Chintagunta, and other Distinguished Professors.

You can join us too and for these 4 simple reasons:
1)      Tons of fun. Bindas maahol :) Will surely remind you of college days.
2)      Connect to Alma Mater and this extended family
3)      Pay tribute to Mahamana Malaviyaji and his vision, and his impact on all of us
